Why do you offer a free trial?

We offer our free trial so that you can test La Lune Noire products without having to pay full price or deal with the hassle of a return. Skincare results can vary according to the user and what works for one person may not work for another. This is why we find it so important to allow customers to test out products to see results for themselves.

How can I cancel my subscription?

If you decide during the trial that you do not want to be enrolled in the subscription, you can process a subscription cancellation through the membership portal.

If you cannot log-in with the email on your account, you can email our support team at support@lalunenoire.co.uk and we’ll be able to assist.

How can I make the most of my free trial products?

You can make the most out of your free trial products by using the products consistently and according to the instructions provided.

If you find that you are not happy with the results or products, you can log into your account and cancel your subscription within the 21 day trial period. This will prevent your subscription from renewing.

What are the subscription terms of the free trial?

The free trial is offered at the cost of shipping and the price of the products is completely waived. With the free trial purchase, you are automatically enrolled into an accompanying subscription, which renews after the 21 day trial period.

You can determine whether you will be enrolled into an accompanying subscription by checking the terms on the free trial check-out page or your La Lune Noire account. Subscriptions automatically renew after the trial period of 21 days. You can cancel this subscription or change your renewal date at any time through the membership portal.

If the subscription renewal is not canceled or extended, a renewal order will automatically be created 21 days after your free trial order date. Your default payment method will automatically be charged when this renewal order is created. If your subscription following the 21 day trial is bimonthly, you will be charged every 2 months and your renewal order will contain full sized products.

These terms are explicitly given through our free trial check-out process before entering any payment information.

Can I cancel my subscription renewal after dispatch?

Unfortunately, cancellations cannot be guaranteed once the order has dispatched. Our logistics systems are automated and order changes may cause delays or mix-ups in the preparation of orders. Once your order is confirmed and an order confirmation email is sent, we are unable to cancel the order. However, we are happy to begin the return process for you so that you can return the order and receive a full refund.

Can I redeem more than 3 free trial order?

Are our products 100% Organic?

We are very careful about where we source our ingredients as we want to ensure they are natural and of the best quality. It is not always possible to source organic for all of our ingredients range but all of our products contain only organic or natural ingredients.

What preservatives do you use?

We use a combination of Ethylhexylglycerin and Phenoxyethanol which is a globally approved paraben-free preservative that is very effective against bacterial, yeast and fungal growth. We never add more than 1% in our products and despite trying a wide range of other preservatives in the past, we’ve always found this to be the best one in the market that doesn’t contain potentially dangerous and harsh chemicals.

Are our products Vegan?

Yes, our entire product range is vegan.

Where are out products manufactured?

Our entire product range is manufactured by in the UK. Our glass jars and bottles are hand printed, filled, and packed from our Surrey HQ!

Are the products paraben free?

La Lune Noire does not use synthetic fragrance or colours, pore-blocking petrochemicals, silicones, sulphates, PEGs, TEA/DEA, parabens, urea or animal ingredients in their products.

I'm pregnant, can I use your products?

Yes absolutely. Our ingredients are all organic or natural, however we do always recommend asking your doctor to double check.

Are any of the products tested on animals?

No, we love our animals and can absolutely assure you that our product is cruelty free and not tested on animals.

How do I use it?

Dip a clean, wet, soft bristled toothbrush into the powder, brush your teeth in small, gentle circles for 2 minutes. Try to keep your lips closed while brushing, spit carefully and rinse really well. Use before your regular toothpaste once or twice a day and enjoy your brighter smile!

How often can I use it?

We recommend that you use our powder once or twice a day, however, as it is 100% natural with no additives, preservatives or any other nasties, you can use it as often as you like!

How much do I use?

Very little, only cover the tips of your wet soft toothbrush bristles.

Can my children use it?

Yes, our powder is safe for all ages. At what age they start is at the discretion of their parents but remember it can be very messy!

I have very sensitive teeth/gums, can I use it?

Yes, is it low abrasive and non-irritating. We suggest using a soft bristle toothbrush.

I've had dental work, can I use it?

Hundreds of our customers are using our powder without a problem, reporting that our product works great on dental work. It is the safest way to whiten and deeply clean. However the activated charcoal may stain crowns, caps or porcelain veneers so please consult your dentist before using. Our product works best for removing extrinsic stains on teeth caused by food, drink, cigarettes.

I'm pregnant, can I use it?

All our ingredients are natural, some organic. In comparison with a regular toothpaste or a teeth whitening product which is full of chemicals our powder is the safest alternative there is. Nevertheless, when pregnant, we recommend you consult your health professional, just for your peace of mind.

How long do I brush my teeth for?

Gently brush for 2 Minutes, for extra whitening power you can leave it in your mouth for another few minutes before rinsing well.

Are there any chemicals in this product?

No, La Lune Noire's Teeth Whitening Powder is 100% natural & 100% vegan - No additives, preservatives or any other nasties.

How soon can I see results?

We are all different, some of our customers notice an immediate improvement, especially when teeth are discoloured, for others it is more of a gradual process. Our teeth whitening powder is made up of 100% natural ingredients and does not make your teeth whiter than natural white. It is not a chemical whitener, it has no bleaching ingredients. It will work best on removing extrinsic stains on teeth caused by food, drink, tobacco. It is a natural alternative to chemical teeth whitening products. Brushing your teeth with this product will also give you that dentist clean feel.

Can it damage my teeth enamel?

No, quite the opposite - it will help to remineralise the enamel due to the natural ingredient, Bentonite Clay, which we added into our formula. La Lune Noire’s RDA value (abrasive effect) is 75. An average value we share with most general toothpastes found in your local supermarket.

Can it change the ph of my mouth?

Yes, it can be helpful in changing the ph and health of your mouth, effectively killing the bad bacteria present in tooth decay and gingivitis.

Do I brush with my normal toothpaste also?

Some customers have replaced their normal toothpaste with our powder altogether, some use it as their night routine and use a commercial toothpaste in the morning, to still have a stronger minty aftertaste, and some continue to use both. If you want to use both, we recommend using it first, followed by your general toothpaste, this helps to get rid of any black bits that may be left between your teeth.

I've seen a similar product cheaper, why should I but this one?

You can buy activated charcoal elsewhere, but as a single ingredient, it will not have the same desired results. Here at La Lune Noire, we have created a unique formulation based on native recipes and techniques for oral care used by indigenous cultures. We offer complimentary returns within 30 days of purchase. To return, contact support@lalunenoire.co.uk and send back the items safely back into the original packaging (if possible). Once we receive the package and inspect the product(s), the total amount minus the original shipping cost will be returned back to your original form of payment.

The returned item must have at least 50% or more of the product left in the bottle/jar in order to qualify. If the product does not meet the return requirements, store credit will be issued instead. We are unable to accept returns of partial sets or bundles.

Once the return is approved, please allow 10 days for the return to be processed.

Please note: We are not able to refund original shipping charges as these are paid directly to the carrier. La La Lune Noire does not refund orders for packages that are lost or stolen.
